Ultra- Advanced birthday gift for Kat Carpio AKA :iconmoonlightflight:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Kat, I know it's way too early for a "birthday gift" but I just had to post it right after creating it (I think you know the feeling of wanting to upload a fresh creation) so there! Hope you like it!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
to those who understand and use Apophysis:

This fractal Dragonfly contains 69 Transform- Triangles (this is the first time I created a fractal with this many Transforms)
I created this without any use of Mutations or Scripts! (which i am proud of! [please excuse my pride])
------------------------------------------------------------------------
other notes:

I did this while I was doing laundry, running back and forth to the computer and washing machine was good exercise!:giggle:
-----------------------------------------------------------------

made in Apophysis 3D and minor editing in Adobe Photoshop 7.0

Amazing work, it was a long process and probably took a lot of trial and error, but wow was it worth it. Great job getting a realistic shape from fractals, not just here, but the others as well.

:wow: Justly proud!

What a truly wonderful result, altho a higher quality render would bring it up a bit better, but then I guess it does evoke the blurry fx fireflies have as you try to get a visual fix on them.

Loving yr genius.

 :worship:

 Know what you mean about trying to get stuff happening in Apo while cooking, washing etc. I need a wife.:D

Well, here's another incredible fractal critter ;)
You certainly have a talent to create replicas of living creatures with Apophysis

Great work!

Very cool, it's really impressive you did all 69 transformations in Apophysis.

haha! thanks!! The 69 transforms only had 1 variation each so they weren't that complicated. Also, the post triangle editing icon that you put in your tutorial helped me a lot. I don't think that I could have done this without that. :giggle:

Thanks very much!! Those wings were one of the major problems I encountered when I was creating it, I was at a blank because I had no Idea how to do them, then after a while, I figured it out :giggle:

Hey my piper friend! :D

Thank you so much for this... Hahaha... Man, don't remind me of my birthday...I'm kinda dreading the big 2-1! O__O But thanks all the same for remembering and making such a beautiful artwork for me.

I didn't really understand the thing with the Apophysis but it sounds crazy hard so a big WOW for the hardwork and the effort love...again, thanks so much and goodluck with everything else.

XS: I should try doing laundry and some of my work sometime. hahaha... sounds like good exercise!

Don't worry about turning 21. Age is just something to mark your existence in this world, kinda like enlisting yourself to continue living.

I was inspired to do this when I saw one of the pictures you took for Maryleen's debut, you placed a dragonfly symbol on the lower left side of the pics.

Ahhh...I see. Well, I have this affinity for dragonfly hence my multiply account username. :D I used to like butterflies as a kid, but now I like dragonflies more. I don't really like bugs in general since they creep me out but dragonflies are a very big exception.

With the ability to transfigure the ripples that define such a fine specimen using the freedom of imagination through the power of thought, you have cleaverly managed to manuever your latest masterpiece through the dragon fly flight which is graceful yet unpredictable for the dragonfly is clever in the art of manuevering its movements within the air just you are in transfiguring the ripples which define your masterpiece using apophysis in motion :#1:

Lufet talaga ng latest piece mo!

Dragonfly manuever nga ang gawa mo gamit ang kamay mo sa pag gawa nitong masterpiece kaya auz lang ang pride mo dito! :worship:

Thanks!

To make layers you need to render your flame transparent. Render several that you want to put together and just add them all into one collage in a photo shop or similar program.

Ahh... ok. I thought what you meant was to make layers in apo.. LOL, yeah I figured that might work. But it seems better if I did it all in apo
